Mary West is the sunshine and smile of Slidell Magazine. To meet her is to love her. Mary is a Louisiana born lady who wears many hats. Her life spans years of selling everything - from magazine ads, TV and Industrial promotions, to pageant shows in 9 states. Mary’s beauty is obvious, inside and out. Heck, she's the former Mrs. Louisiana! Another unique and fascinating aspect of Mary’s life is that she holds a place in the Guinness Book of World Records! Mary has been in TV commercials around the country, and had her own TV show in 3 states. She's a former contributing writer for New Orleans Living Magazine, a published poet, and has appeared in such national magazines as New Woman, Complete Woman, and is a former Editor of a resort newspaper in Illinois.
Mary and her husband, Peter Winters, have lived in 9 states with his career in the Hotel Industry, and we are grateful that they have chosen Slidell as their city of choice!
