MIKE RICH | Contributing Writer - "Making Cents of Your Money"
Mike is a financial advisor and Certified Financial Planner™ with Pontchartrain Investment Management. Mike’s work with individuals and business owners includes comprehensive financial planning strategies, investments, asset and liability management, and the efficient use of cash flow to help his clients achieve their financial goals.
Mike served ten years as a Commissioner for St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1. He is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Slidell and is Past President of the Rotary Club of Slidell Northshore. Mike also served his club as Secretary, Vice President and President Elect, and was selected as Rotarian of the Year for 2001-2002 and 2014-2015. He also served on the board of directors for Leadership Slidell Northshore Alumni Association and the planning board for Veterans Celebrate Freedom.
Mike has been an active member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church since 1976 and has taught children’s and adult Sunday school classes for more than 30 years. Currently, he is leading a class of 60-somethings who are on the verge of figuring everything out.
His monthly financial advice column, “Making Cents of Your Money” has run continuously in Slidell Magazine longer than any other story. Mike puts an affable face on financial investing and protection, and truly lives to serve the Slidell community.
